Project Unison Upgrade - Performed technical upgrade from R/3 3.1H to 4.0B, including an upgrade of the Oracle database from 7.3.3.3 to 8.0.4.3. Built technical project plan and managed resources to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
Project Unison - Domestic implementation of SAP R/3 release 3.1H. Responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture to support the installation of SAP R/3 release 3.1H. Architecture included high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Responsible for the allocation of resources to ensure that project milestones were delivered on-time and on-budget.
SAP Upgrade Project
Technical leader of upgrade project from R/3 release 3.1H to 4.6C. Project included hardware migration from HP V-class to N-class, which necessitated an OS upgrade to 64-bit HP-UX. Upgraded Oracle to 8.0.6 64-bit and installed 4.6D downward compatible 64-bit kernel for R/3. Built technical project plan and provided documented procedures for performing upgrades and database copies with Instance renames. Worked with Functional Team and performed several dryrun upgrades to enusre seamless transition and minimal impact to Shure's productive operations. The CTO of Shure wanted a documented runbook as a deliverable and knowledge transfer to the technical team for futre upgrades.

Lead SAP Technical Consultant
Project Synergy - Global implementation of SAP R/3 to support nineteen countries using ten languages. Responsible for designing the technical architecture; performing capacity planning and initial sizing; implementing MDMP for multiple language code pages, including Japanese and Korean double-byte code pages; implemented and tested high availability and disaster recovery. Following the Global ASAP methodology. Implemented TopCALL fax server solution. Configured SAP Presentation server and printers to support double-byte lanuages in Japan and Korea. Customized shipping label templates to support Japanese and Korean languages and address formats. Project was based in London, UK.

Aquatech is a manufacturer of industrial water purification systems based in Canonsburg, PA. This project consisteed of evaluating their SAP landscape and providing them with a documented approach for implementing a disaster recovery solution to ensure uninterrupted operations. We had to provide several solutions based on low, medium, and high costs as well as low, medium, and high risk assessments.

ACE - Modernization project to move U.S. Customs application for Goods coming into the United States from a mainframe platform to a distributed SOA platform. Installed and configured SAP R/3, SAP CRM, and SAP Solution Manager. Wrote ABAP programs to support monthly statements for Filers for duties owed. Project Leader for testing of the modernized Truck Manifest application built in SAP R/3 and CRM. Developed test plans and scenarios based on requirements and user stories. Upgraded SAP R/3 to ECC 6.0 and CRM to 7.0.

Provided expert guidance in support of Latin America rollout for Nestle Corporation as part of Global implementation. Worked closely with business teams across Central and South America to ensure presentation layers and country-specific configurations met their needs to support operations. Ensured printing and fax operations were functional. Provided guidance for archiving and disaster recovery configuration for this implementation.
