Lead Technical Consultant
Project Synergy - International implementation of SAP R/3 release 4.0B to support nineteen countries using ten languages. Responsible for designing the technical architecture; performing capacity planning and initial sizing; implementing MDMP for multiple language code pages; high availability and disaster recovery. Following the Global ASAP methodology. Implemented TopCALL fax server solution.
Project Unison Upgrade - Performed technical upgrade from R/3 3.1H to 4.0B, including an upgrade of the Oracle database from 7.3.3.3 to 8.0.4.3. Built technical project plan and managed resources to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
Project Unison - Domestic implementation of SAP R/3 release 3.1H. Responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture to support the installation of SAP R/3 release 3.1H. Architecture included high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Responsible for the allocation of resources to ensure that project milestones were delivered on-time and on-budget.

Project Assessment
Performed assessment of global implementation project at the World Bank. World Bank requested assessment by SAP to ensure the system architecture conformed to similar implementations. Duties included assessment of project milestones, scope, readiness, and staffing profiles. Analyzed interfaces, language considerations, printing solutions, high availability, backup strategies, database sizing, and hardware platform. Validated patch levels and CCMS configuration.

MDMP Project
Vitria is a company with long history of success in streaming analytics, business process management, enterprise application integration, operational intelligence and IoT (Internet of Things) analytics across enterprises and vertical markets. In early 2000 they were opening offices in Japan and needed to install double-byte Japanese codepage on an SAP system to test their integration. I installed SAP R/3 4.5B on two-system landscape in a Windows NT and Oracle environment. Installed and configured Japanese codepage Shift-JIS and set up MDMP environment.

SAP Upgrade Project
Technical leader of upgrade project from R/3 release 3.1H to 4.6C. Project included hardware migration from HP V-class to N-class, which necessitated an OS upgrade to 64-bit HP-UX. Upgraded Oracle to 8.0.6 64-bit and installed 4.6D downward compatible 64-bit kernel for R/3. Built technical project plan and provided documented procedures for performing upgrades and database copies with Instance renames.

Technical consultant for global MySAP.com implementation, including R/3 4.6C, Workplace 2.11, APO 3.0A, BW 2.1C, and CRM 3.0. Duties included Go-Live support, Regression Test change management, performance tuning, capacity planning, problem analysis, system refreshes, OSS note application, shell scripting. Initial rollout for Peru, Bolivia, and Chile and includes Single Sign-On.
